Princetech Engineering Services is looking for an experienced and skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing electrical systems for industrial and manufacturing projects. This role requires technical expertise and the ability to collaborate across multiple engineering disciplines to ensure the successful execution of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical systems and infrastructure for industrial projects.
- Perform load calculations, equipment sizing, and electrical system analysis.
- Prepare detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams using AutoCAD and other design tools.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure electrical systems are installed according to design specifications.
- Collaborate with Mechanical, Civil, and Structural Engineers to ensure integrated and efficient designs.
- Review and verify system designs to ensure compliance with relevant electrical codes and standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical system issues during design and construction phases.
- Prepare cost estimates, technical specifications, and project documentation.
- Coordinate with suppliers and contractors for the procurement and installation of electrical components and systems.
- Ensure safety protocols and best practices are followed during the design and installation of electrical systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in electrical design and engineering, preferably in industrial or plant engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical design software.
- Strong understanding of electrical codes, safety standards, and industrial electrical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and technical skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience with power distribution, lighting, and grounding systems.
- Familiarity with energy management and sustainability practices.
- Knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and 3D modeling tools.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
