Princetech Engineering Services is looking for a highly skilled BIM Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes and ensuring the efficient integration of all project disciplines through BIM tools and workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage the BIM process across multiple disciplines, including architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP).
- Oversee the development and maintenance of the 3D BIM models, ensuring that all disciplines are integrated and aligned.
- Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts in the BIM model using tools like Navisworks and Revit.
- Collaborate with project teams, including engineers, architects, and contractors, to ensure efficient design coordination and project execution.
- Develop BIM execution plans, standards, and workflows, ensuring project deliverables meet the required quality and timeframes.
- Provide BIM training and support to team members and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, client requirements, and company policies related to BIM.
- Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including model files, reports, and presentations.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and suggest improvements to streamline workflows.
- Facilitate coordination meetings and BIM collaboration sessions with stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in BIM coordination, with proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and other BIM software.
- Strong understanding of BIM processes, workflows, and standards.
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and coordinating complex projects.
- Excellent knowledge of BIM tools for clash detection, design integration, and 3D modeling.
- Ability to develop and enforce BIM standards and procedures.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Experience with project management and collaboration platforms (e.g., BIM 360, Procore) is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- BIM certification or relevant professional certification.
- Experience in large-scale industrial or plant engineering projects.
- Familiarity with sustainable design practices and energy analysis tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within BIM models.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
